Nostos Apartment - Matala (Crete)

We had a fairly nice stay in Matala short walk to Matala and Matala beach, main downtown and the centre. Room was stylish and a decent size, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and a satellite TV were available too. The atmosphere seemed to be quiet.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Matala for a few days. The room was clean and spacious, and the view from the deck was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was also well equipped and had more than enough space for the three adults in our group. Additionally, the host, Nikos, was amazing. He was always available to help with anything we needed, and on our last day, he went above and beyond to help us fix an issue with our car. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful host.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Something as shower missing.

had a nice stay for one night. it had a lovely setting right by matala and matala beach, a cave in the hills and creta. the view was breathtaking, and we were located in beautiful surroundings. the host met us and explained everything. the building was lovely.

It was extremely quiet and unbeatable in beautyful Valley. Moreover, it was near the centre, Matala and the beach and Crete. I enjoyed all the staff, they were amicable.

It was brilliant base for travelling to Matala, I was glad to stay there. It had a great setting just next door to the restaurants, Crete and Matala. The staff were all amiable and nice. Included a hair dryer and bath sheets, all very handy...

The apartment was incredibly spacious with a separate bedroom and a living room. It felt like having my own little private oasis. The best part was the terrace, where I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee while taking in the stunning garden views. It was like stepping into a botanical paradise!

Shower curtain too short.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The value for money was excellent, and our room was clean, well-equipped, and spacious. The location was perfect for us, just a short walk from the town center but away from the noise at night. The staff, especially our host Nikos, were helpful and always available for any assistance we needed. We even had an issue with our car and Nikos were really good too help us out. We can't wait to stay here again!

The breakfast selection could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Mind-blowing location, awesome property manager who went above and beyond, modern design, super comfy bed, fully equipped room.

The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view from the deck. the location was quiet and peaceful, away from the noise of the main area. the scenery was lovely, with a view of the mountain.

the bathroom had a tiny shower without curtains, making it difficult to take a proper shower without getting water all over the floor. there was no kitchenette, which was not mentioned in the description of the room.

During my stay at Nostos, I was really surprised by the beautiful surroundings and the brand new apartment. The white spaces with vibrant plants and flowers created a serene atmosphere. The private terrace was a perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. the location just outside Matala center allowed for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Although there were some drawbacks mentioned in the database, like the apartments being on different levels with stairs and the lack of a shower curtain, these did not greatly affect my experience. The apartment owner, Nikos, was helpful and professional.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It was very clean and well equipped, providing more than enough space for the three of us. We especially enjoyed the nice balcony. Nikos, our host, was amazing and always available to help with anything we needed. On our last day, when we had an issue with our car, he went above and beyond to assist us and get us going again. We couldn't have asked for a more helpful host. We will definitely stay at Nostos again when we revisit the area. Cons: Everything was spot on. 👌.

Mind-blowing location - just a 15 minute walk to town, away from noisy bars! Jaw-dropping cleanliness - daily cleaner made our apartment sparkle. Superb host - Nikos was courteous, helpful, and always available. Fantastic amenities - free wi-fi, parking, electric kettle, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and cots. Incredible view - our balcony provided a peaceful and amazing backdrop. a super stay - we recommend this place for its unpretentious charm and outstanding service.

The apartment we stayed in was amazing! It was clean and spacious, and the balcony offered breathtaking views. We also loved the fact that complimentary coffee was provided, a nice touch for a morning pick-me-up. the best part was the cool breezes that kept the room comfortable throughout the day.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. the lack of food preparation facilities was disappointing.
